This fascinating and detailed early survey of the island was made under the direction of W.D. Alexander, Surveyor General of Hawaii Territory with triangulation by J.F. Brown. It shows particularly good detail of the topography along with individual property ownership, rivers, and coastal place names. Includes a small table of distances at left from Nawiliwili.
