Uncommon detailed chart of the Strait of Magellan locating harbors, islands, capes and bays from Cap des Vierges to Cap de la Victoire. The rococo-style cartouche includes a lettered reference table for anchorages, bays, and harbors in the vicinity of Isle de Louis le Grand at the mid-point of the strait. The Dutch title, Gereduceerde Kaart van de Straat van Magellan, is also included in the title cartouche. Engraved by Van Schley.

A crisp impression, issued folding on watermarked paper with minor offsetting to the right of the title cartouche and light toning along the edges of the sheet.
