This is a very detailed chart of the Straits of Magellan that displays the best route through the straits. There are sixteen small inset maps of the area showing anchorages and navigational hazards. The chart is centered on a large compass rose and fleur-de-lis. Engraved by Andre.

Condition: A

A nice impression on a bright sheet with a massive watermark of a coat of arms bearing the initials "GBR" and "REAL" beneath. There is a light damp stain confined to the blank margin at top left.
