This exquisitely engraved plan shows Riga and its fortifications along the Daugava River (Duna Stroom). A smaller fortification labeled Kober Schantz appears on the opposite bank. A key in an ornate cartouche at bottom left identifies key locations, including the castle and notable churches. German text in the left margin provides historical context.

A nice impression on a sheet with a jester watermark and minor scattered foxing that is mostly concentrated along the sheet's edges, with just a few spots in map image.
