The map of North America includes some interesting conjectural cartography in the west, including the River of the West, and a developing Alaska. The world map shows Tasmania still connected to mainland Australia, and New Guinea has only a partial outline. Octavo, rebound in quarter faux leather over marbled paper boards. 965 pages.

The maps range from good to mostly very good with light toning and occasional scattered foxing or light offsetting. The map of the West Indies has a small fold separation at lower left, extending about 1" into the image. Text is tight with light toning and an occasional spot of foxing. Modern binding is near fine with bumped edges.
