A detailed map showing the street-grid of Pasadena and vicinity with San Marino and the Huntington Estate at center. A legend identifies roads, electric railways, and steam railroads. Surrounded by a street index and folds into paper wrappers (4 x 7.25") with a 25 cent price.
B. Map of the City of San Marino Los Angeles County California, by William Chalmers, circa 1930, printed color (23.1 x 17.4"). Shows the street network of this small residential city adjacent to Pasadena. At the center of the map is the Huntington Library and Art Gallery which opened in 1928 following Huntington’s death. Compiled by William Chalmers, the city engineer, and published by the funeral home of Turner & Stevens. An apparently rare issue with no copies located in OCLC.
