Very detailed and finely engraved chart shows the main islands plus the eastern coastline of Denmark and a little of Sweden. The superb cartouche features a large vignette depicting the approach to Copenhagen with ships in the harbor. It is further adorned with the royal arms and a scene of merfolk frolicking in the sea.

A nice impression and lovely color on watermarked paper with minor printer's ink residue and one short centerfold separation that has been archivally repaired.
