The Rhine River cuts across this map from Wesel in the north to just shy of Koblenz in the south, and passing through the cities of Cologne, Dusseldorf and Bonn. The map is loaded with topographic information and names hundreds of cities, towns, rivers and lakes. The decorative title cartouche features a soldier lunging at a papal figure, and the distance scale cartouche include soldiers engaged in battle.

Full contemporary color with archivally repaired centerfold separation that enter into the image 1" at left and 2" at right. There is light toning along the edges of the sheet with a few tiny chips and tears also along the edges. There are minor remnants of old glue along the top edge of the sheet on verso.
