This road map was published by the National Highways Association in April of 1916. The highway system is prominently depicted in bold red print with all other detail in blue including cities, counties, and drainage. The National Highways Association promoted a national system of federally funded highways that would allow states and localities to support secondary roads, resulting in "Good Roads Everywhere." No dealer or auction records found in the last 30 years, and OCLC shows only three examples in institutional holdings.
