This map of the golf course at West Point was designed by Robert Trent Jones and constructed with the help of German prisoners of war. The course opened in 1948 adjacent to the U.S. Silver
Depository (now a U.S. Mint) and a "Ski Slope." This original design shows a 6960 yard, par 73 course (there were 10 holes, 8 of which were repeated on the back nine). The current updated design shows a 6036 yard, par 70 course that bears little resemblance to the original layout. No copies of the map were located in OCLC or elsewhere.
