Oriented with north to the right, this map focuses on Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia in northwestern Germany, including the East Frisian Islands. The map extends east to Hamburg, south to Gottingen and west past Cologne. The extensive network of rivers is prominently shown, along with hundreds of small towns. The map is decorated with a compass rose and two large cartouches featuring a large figure and a dedication to Antonio Grimani.

A nice impression with bold color and a tiny separation along the centerfold that has been professionally repaired. Remnants of hinge tape on verso.
