An early example of Ortelius' map of ancient Romania and Bulgaria compiled from the works of Dionos, Stephanus, Horatius, Suidas, Flavius Vopiscus, Plinius, and Strabo. The route of the Danube is noted to the Black Sea. The map is decorative with fully engraved seas and a trio of large cartouches. Italian text on verso, published in 1608 and 1612.
