A fine large map showing all of Italy, including Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica, the surrounding parts of France and the Balkans, and a portion of North Africa. The map is filled with detail and decorated with an ornate title cartouche alluding to the Catholic Church, with a cherub wearing a cardinal's miter.

Contemporary outline color with later color in the cartouche on paper with the watermark of a Maltese cross encircled by rosary beads. There is light soiling, toning confined to the edges of the sheet, and archival repairs to a centerfold separation that enters 3" into image at bottom and to a vertical tear adjacent to the centerfold.
