This elegant and detailed view of the city of Manisa in Turkey was first published in Dapper's Naukeurige Beschryving van Asie... (1680) with narrower margins. The foreground is filled with lines of travelers in local dress with camels and livestock. The city appears in impressive detail before a hilly backdrop. Drawn by Charles Vasteau.

A dark impression with some printer's ink residue and a few tiny worm holes that are only visible when held up to light.
