This striking map of Western Africa spans from Cape Blanco south to the Gold Coast. It also extends to include Cape Verde. There are plenty of place names along the coastline and rivers. A decorative title cartouche adorns the bottom left corner. Engraved by G. Pitteri.

A crisp impression on a sheet with a watermark of three crescent moons. The centerfold is reinforced on verso with archival tape, and there is faint toning along it.
