This map of the western hemispheres includes a panel of text explaining how to project the world in plane form. A large southern continent is still prominently shown, and the coastlines of Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand and the Salomon Islands are still incomplete. In North America, California is depicted as an island with the D. d'Anian separating California from a large Terre de Iesso.
