This map of the Western Hemisphere features good topographical detail and extends to include New Zealand and some of the archipelagoes in the South Pacific Ocean. The area west of the Mississippi is labeled Louisian, and Florida is divided into East and West. The Missouri River is shown "accordg to Capt Lewis 1806" with a former conjectural route delineated as well. Notes in the northernmost reaches of Canada indicate "The Sea" as seen by both Mackenzie in 1789 and Hearne in 1771. The mythical Lake Parime appears in South America. A fragment of Sandwich Land is depicted to the southeast of South America. Drawn by L. Hebert and engraved by Neele. Published by Cadell & Davies and Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Brown.
