This is a terrific bird's-eye view of the region that was produced for the tourist trade. It is unusual in that it is taken from the south - most of Walker's views are from the west. The map extends from Marblehead, Salem and Chelsea in the north to Hingham Harbor and Nantasket Beach to the east. Steamer routes to Nantasket Beach, Nahant, Gloucester and more are identified. Folds into printed paper wrappers (3 x 5.5") with title "Bird's-Eye View of Boston Harbor and the North Shore."
