This map was issued as a supplement after the December 1776 issue of the magazine that adds additional battle information; the earlier edition (with a different title) was published in the October 1776 issue (see Jolly #GENT-248). Troop and battle deployments are clearly delineated, including the recent actions around White Plains. It also shows additional towns and roads on Staten Island and in eastern New Jersey. A fascinating Revolutionary War map designed to illustrate to the British people the progress of the war against the rebels.
