This scarce land guide for Seminole County, Oklahoma was published by J. Read Moore. It contains a wealth of local information including a complete roll of full blood Seminoles and New Born Freedman, 56 pages of township maps showing ownership, and a small folding map of the county that is colored by township (5.5 x 11"). The preface notes the maps were provided by E. Hastain so that the allotment and map information could be combined in one convenient volume and apparently justify the high original price of $12.50 (over $300 in today's prices). 52 pages, octavo, stamped leather.

Contents are very good with some minor pencil notations mostly in the blank margins and occasional stamps for "Okemah National Bank, Okemah, Okla.” throughout. Covers are moderately worn, and there are some ink stains on the fore-edge of the text block.
