Charming little map of northern Spain covering the region from Aviles to the border with France and inland to include Zamora and Tordesillas. Title cartouche flanked with winged mermaids and strapwork distance scale. A fanciful little sea monster, with a bird's head and a fish tail, is shown frolicking in the Bay of Biscay. French text on verso.

The impression is a bit weak in the borders and there is light toning along the edges of the sheet.
