This elegantly engraved map covers the northwestern coast of Spain. It extends from the Asturias de Oviedo region and Aviles in the northeast to Baiona and the Portuguese border on the south. The detailed map includes castles, walled cities, towns, rivers, mountains, and much more. The title cartouche features Neptune hoisting a shell over his head. It is further decorated by two cherubs holding a coat of arms with a drape-style cartouche containing a musical score. There are also three sailing ships, a small sea monster, and two 16-point compass roses. German text on verso, published 1638-42.
