This elegantly engraved map centers on the Moravia historical region in the Czech Republic. It is dense with place names and includes nice detail of the region's rivers, forests, and hills. Parts of Bohemia and Silesia appear in the north. An ornate cartouche at top left features notes on the region in Latin. The imprint of Johann Bussemacher, who published several of Quad's works, appears in the distance scale cartouche at left. German text on verso.
