This handsome map of Sumatra is oriented with north to the right, and extends to show portions of Java and the Malay Peninsula. The equator is prominently shown through the middle of the map, and a large ship and two decorative cartouches complete the composition. Latin text on verso, published from 1616 to 1618.

A dark impression with light toning. The title and page number above the map have been partially trimmed.
