A detailed small map of the eastern United States that extends to the 100th meridian. Arkansaw Territory is in its largest configuration and includes present-day Oklahoma. The state of Missouri and a large Missouri Territory are to its north, while an unnamed Texas is to its south and is part of Mexico. A large North Western Territory includes Wisconsin, the upper peninsula of Michigan, and eastern Minnesota. Illinois and Indiana are depicted too far to the west, with no part of Illinois touching Lake Michigan. An inset "Continuation of Florida" is on the same scale with a small mountain range in the interior.
