Luigi (Lodovico) Guicciardini first published his work on the Low Countries in 1567 with Italian text, and was subsequently reprinted in German, Latin, French and Dutch several times over the next 100 years. Several different versions of maps were included in the various editions. This beautifully engraved map centers on Namur and extends to include Fontaine, Dinant, Hannuy, and Huy. Engraved by Petrus Kaerius and published by Blaeu.
