This beautifully engraved map covers Germany and the heart of Europe, extending from France and Holland to Poland, and from Switzerland to Hungary. It is filled with hundreds of place names, mountains, forest, and rivers and decorated with a sailing ship and a boldly engraved title cartouche with a large eagle. French text on verso.

A nice impression on a sheet with a small coat of arms watermark, moderate toning, and minor foxing. There are archival repairs to a short centerfold separation and adjacent tear in the bottom blank margin.
