This attractive map covers northern Germany, including Schleswig-Holstein. The fine engraving illustrates rivers, lakes, forests, lowlands, cities, and villages. Title and distance scales are both in decorative cartouches. The map is reduced slightly from the Sanson/Jaillot, two-sheet map of 1676. Engraved by Louis Cordier.

Condition: A
A nice impression on a sheet with a Maltese cross watermark. There is minor offsetting, a small rust spot at bottom left, and an old paper repair on recto in the bottom blank margin.
