This sheet contains two bird's-eye plans of St. Petersburg. The bottom plan shows a close-up of the city and its fortifications with several notes, including a notation that the Neva River is "passage for all the outward bound ships, but very difficult on account of its rapidity." The upper map depicts the region surrounding St. Petersburg, including the River Neva and the Gulf of Finland. This map depicts the Russian Emperors Palaces & Gardens and a sandy road through the wood and morass alongside Ladoga Lake.
