This satirical prohibition-era map renames the 48 states in the continental US as well as their capitals with "boozy" sounding names. There is Boozey-Anna, Rye-Oming, New Flaska, Penn Still Vania, Brew Mexico, New Sherry, and many more. Every nomenclature on the map is renamed to fit the prohibition theme: Canada Dry, Rye-O-Grand river, the Transcontinental Railroad is renamed the Grand Drunk Line, and the compass rose features Port, Yeast, Souse and Wets. Published in Judge magazine, a weekly satirical magazine published in the US from 1881-1947. On verso are a cartoon and articles reviewing the current movies and theater productions.
