This handsome map of the British Isles was likely published in volume four of Nicolas Lenglet du Fresnoy's Methode pour Etudier l'Histoire... Some major towns and cities are named, including London, Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Dublin, and Limerick, but the main emphasis is on topographical detail. It extends to show portions of the coasts of France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Norway. Engraved by Jenvilliers.
