This very nice bird's-eye plan shows the fortified city of Mechelen in Antwerp Province. The Dyle River flows through the city and is diverted fully around the city to a form a circular, protective moat. Two very handsome coats of arms decorate the top, and figures overlook Mechelen from a hilltop in the foreground.
