This map focuses on parts of the present-day regions of Sachsen-Anhalt and Lower Saxony. The map is centered approximately on Leipzig and extends north to Magdeburg, east to Dresden, west to Eisenach, and south to Bamberg. Fully engraved and filled with hundreds of tiny towns, the map is embellished with an allegorical title cartouche featuring Athena, a figure representing the sciences, and putti. Engraved by Michael Kauffer.
