This handsome map covers Southeastern Europe between the Adriatic, Black, and Mediterranean seas. There are numerous place names, with several towns and cities identified including Budapest (still two distinct cities), Belgrade, Sofia, Athens, and Constantinople. Roads, rivers, and mountains are shown. The mouths of the Danube are noted, as are the ruins of Sardique and Ephesus, Mt. Olympus, and "Pt. Sciesme where the Turkish Fleet was burnt." The map extends to show the Crimean peninsula. Part of Turkey in Asia appears with place names lining the coasts, but the interior is left blank.
