This lovely map shows the northern half of the Holy Land divided into tribes, and is filled with roads, cities and topography. The elaborate title cartouche features religious symbols. This is the northern sheet of a two-sheet map, with each sheet contained within full borders. Engraved by Lattre.

A nice impression on paper with the watermark of a Maltese cross encircled in rosary beads, with contemporary outline color in the map and later color in the cartouche. There is a faint damp stain in the top corners and very light soiling.
