It is an invaluable resource for collectors interested in U.S. government maps. The first volumes has entries for 37 maps from the American State Papers and 2160 other government maps. The second volume covers maps #2162 through #3548. The third volume in this lot indexes geographical areas and subjects R-Z and includes indices organized by map title, personal names, and corporate names. The volume indexing geographical areas and subjects A-Q is not included here.
