At attractive pictorial map of the region with heading “The Los Angeles Examiner Welcomes You to the Southland!", intended for American Legion convention goers in 1938. The map extends from Santa Monica and San Pedro east to Pasadena and Pomona and creates an aesthetically pleasing combination of topographical features coupled with places of interest and the transportation network. Includes three inset maps in the corners. Self-folding with cover title “What Outfit Buddy?” A Guide to Los Angeles Compliments of the Los Angeles Examiner. This map appears to be a revision of Floercky’s map of 1929 with the same title. No copies located in OCLC or elsewhere.
