This pictorial map of the state is intended for both the tourist and emigrant. It shows the major roads and highways in the state along with numerous illustrations touting the state including "Only Herd of Caribou in U.S. Here", "Over Billion Wall-Eyed Pike Put in Lakes Yearly", "First State in Potato Acreage" and "2nd U.S. Port in Tonnage Handled." Includes an inset map linking Chicago to Minneapolis which is surrounded by fish native to Minnesota. The verso contains promotional text, illustrations, and a letter from Governor Floyd Olson (served from 1931-36) to "Everybody Seeking Happiness." Created by the Minnesota Department of Conservation and published by the Tourist Bureau. Self-folding with illustrated cover entitled "Minnesota - Where Dreams Still Come True."
