This superb map of southern Sweden extends to show Copenhagen in Denmark. A large inset includes the northern part of Halland with Gothenberg and Warberg. The map is richly engraved and adorned with an elaborate cartouche featuring the arms of Halland, Scania and Blekinge and a great scene showing a family of merfolk with a rich bounty of fish.

A sharp impression with contemporary color in the map and later color in the cartouche, light toning, and a few tiny worm holes at top center.
