This fascinating World War II map is an enlarged version of one by James Cutter that was featured in the January 29, 1945 issue of Time Magazine. It graphically presents the region from Warsaw, Krakow and Budapest east to Prague and Berlin with the railroad network, larger rivers, and topography depicted. Along the right side of the map are the names of six Soviet generals who were responsible for the Red Army's forces on the Eastern Front. Large red arrows show the path of advancement for the Allies through Poland and finally Berlin, which is noted with a swastika.
