This impressive three-sheet map follows the Rhine River from Basel, Switzerland, through France, to Bonn, Germany. The maps are densely engraved with boundaries, towns, roads, and topographical detail. Larger towns are depicted with miniature bird's-eye views or plans. The sheets have been joined.

A nice impression with a few rust spots, minor dampstains, and a printer's crease at the bottom of the top sheet. There is minor extraneous creasing and some separation along the joint of the second and third sheet.
