Lovely map centered on the town of Reims with north oriented to the top right of the map. The map extends to include Rethel, Laon, Charleville-Mezieres, Chalons-en-Champagne and Chateau-Thierry, and there is nice detail of the surrounding villages, towns, rivers and forests. The decorative title cartouche is embellished with the coats of arms of Reims and Rethel. French text on verso, published between 1638-43.

A nice impression with full contemporary color and minor offsetting along the centerfold. There are some short tears, light toning and soiling all confined to the edges of the sheet.
