This map of the "boot" of Italy is oriented with north to the left. The map is filled with ancient place names based on classical sources. The map is handsomely adorned with four ships and four strapwork cartouches, the top left of which contains an inset of . Latin text on verso, published in 1624.

Condition: B+
A dark impression on a bright sheet with minor soiling, a crease parallel to the centerfold, and professional repairs to a centerfold separation at bottom and several small worm tracks along the centerfold. The bottom left and top right corners of the plate broke off around 1600, and in this example the missing image has been meticulously replaced in facsimile.
