A lovely small map of the Kingdom of Sardinia flanked with a coat of arms and a table outlining the political divisions in the region. The right half of the map is filled with a large cartouche embellished with mermaids and sea monsters containing information on the island based on the text in Coronelli's Atlante Veneto. One of the key facts describes an herb found on the island that is so poisonous that any human who eats it will suffer an agonizing death.
