This map covers the range of Alexander the Great's conquests in Zatta's distinctive engraving style. The map spans from the Balkans, Eastern Mediterranean, and North Africa east to the border of India. It features plenty of place names and nice cartographic detail of the region's rivers and mountain ranges. The Caspian Sea appears as an oval. The title is enclosed in a simple scroll cartouche. Engraved by Giovanni Pitteri.
