This whimsical map of the region around Hawke's Bay was published by Pictorial Publications Ltd. in Hastings. It extends from Napier and Hastings west to Waimarama Beach and Maraekakaho with the Kaweka Forest Park in the distance. The map is filled with cartoonish illustrations highlighting the recreational activities in the area including the botanical gardens, "the famous marine parade", Sannet sanctuary, golf clubs, beaches, and more. Surrounded by photographic illustrations and related text on verso. No examples located on OCLC or elsewhere, but a similar map also by Pictorial Publications was found at two institutions in New Zealand (Sunny Hawke's Bay, Heretaunga Plains).
