This nicely illustrated map of the Sunshine State was issued by Sales Management Magazine. It locates major towns and cities and delineates the highways. The landscape is filled with illustrations of the state's many attractions and sites of interest, including Florida Caverns State Park, the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee, Castillo de San Marcos, the Gasparilla Pirate Carnival, the Singing Tower at Bok Tower Gardens, the Seminole Indian Reservation, and the Everglades National Park. The decorative compass rose features a marlin at its center. A text panel at left includes a note on the state's "identifying characteristics" from Commissioner of Agriculture Nathan Mayo and bullet points emphasizing its good weather and lack of taxes. A second map on verso identifies the railways that run through the state and features a mileage chart and a table showing the population and area of the various counties.
