These two very large sheets together present a complete picture of Harris County, Texas with Houston at its center. 34 different soil types are represented through both color and texture, and the results are visually striking. In addition to the soil types, the map includes many other details from the U.S. Geological Survey including roads, railroads, cities and towns, county boundaries, topography and more. Colorful examples with a just a hint of toning and a few small splits at the fold junctions of the western sheet. The bluish hue in the images is caused by our scanner and not present on the physical map. The first image is a composite image - the map is in two separate sheets.
