This handsome map of the central section of South America is based on D'Anville's important 3-sheet map of the continent. It covers southern Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and parts of Peru and Chili. It provides a particularly detailed view of the rivers. This edition was issued by Remondini.

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color on watermarked paper with light scattered foxing, much of it confined to the blank margins, and a hint of offsetting. There is a pair of worm tracks in the blank margins.
