This elegantly engraved map of England and Wales is divided into counties and the seven Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. Many towns and cities are named, and there is strong topographical detail. The map extends to show portions of Ireland, Scotland, and France, albeit with little detail aside from some rivers and place names. The top right corner is decorated with a large and ornate title cartouche incorporating several allegorical figures. Three distance scales appear at bottom right.
